Administrative tasks are related to helping with communications and the organisation of events.

The trustees and staff are all volunteers and are unsalaried. They give freely of their time and effort. If you wish to assist in any way we would like to hear from you.

OUTREACH

Outreach is to assist in networking, getting in contact with educational establishments and promoting Vedic Mathematics.

TRAINING

For those who have been trained in Vedic Mathematics we have established a bank of teachers who can be contacted to offer their services in teaching.

PROJECTS

IAVM has initiated the projects listed below to help the advancement of Vedic Mathematics. If you are interested in getting involved with any of our projects or have a project of your own you wish to initiate then please email us at instituteavm@gmail.com. It will be helpful if in your email you include the name of the project/s that you would like to be involved in.

 

a. In-person conference

Join the team to help organise the 2nd International Vedic Mathematics Conference to be held in New Delhi, in December 2017. We require sponsorship, venue, promotion, logistics and liaising with schools, colleges, and other interested parties.

 

b. Certification and online assessment platform 

Create new questions for online practice worksheets and certification tests. Provide admin support to track registrations, issue certificates, etc. Help with copy-editing. Guru and Anu are leading this new digital initiative.

c. Curate digital resources

Find and organise the most relevant, original and highest quality digital content on Vedic Mathematics. The content to include videos, presentations, and research articles

d. Curate and compile VM research papers on the new applications

There have been many new applications of VM sutras and we need a volunteer to gather these together and organise them into a user-friendly directory.

e. VM grade wise curriculum development 

Create structure and progression of VM methods for Grades 1 to 12. Develop course material, such as Teacher Handbook and Student worksheets.  This project involves mapping VM methods to enable integration into the school curriculum.
